A peculiar project, but with deep historical value. Architect Elio Valeggia dealt with the phonic renewal of the Swiss highway section between Melide and Bissone. The portal of the tunnel called Galleria di Melide-Grancia or Galleria di San Salvatore is a project of great worth, as it was designed by the famous Architect Rino Tami.
In the context of technological renewal, it was needed to evaluate the likely impact which sound-absorbing barriers would have on the tunnel entrance from an artistic viewpoint. As a consequence, Diego Varan Render realized some photo-mock-ups to simulate the final result.
